Understanding Your Analytics

Exporting Your Data

Download your podcast's daily download data as a CSV file for custom analysis.

The Export page lets you download your podcast's download data as a CSV file. Select the episodes and date range you want, preview your selection, and download — ready to open in any spreadsheet app.

How to export

Choose your date range

Click the date range button to open the date picker. You can select from preset ranges or use the calendar to pick a custom start and end date. The default range covers all time, from your earliest episode to yesterday.

Select your episodes

Click the episode selector to choose which episodes to include. All episodes are selected by default. You can search by title to find specific episodes, toggle individual episodes on or off, or use Select All / Deselect All to manage your selection in bulk.

When you search for episodes, Select All and Deselect All only apply to the episodes matching your search — not your entire catalog.

Preview your selection

The table below shows the first 10 selected episodes with their title, published date, and total downloads. Above the download button, you'll see estimated stats for your export: the number of rows, columns, and approximate file size.

Download your CSV

Click Download CSV to save the file. The button is disabled if no episodes are selected. Your file will be named using the format episode-downloads-YYYY-MM-DD-to-YYYY-MM-DD.csv based on your selected date range.

CSV format

The downloaded file contains one row per episode per day within your selected date range. Each row has 4 columns:

  • Episode Title — the name of the episode
  • Published Date — the date the episode was published
  • Date — the specific day this row represents
  • Downloads — the number of downloads for that episode on that day (0 if none)
The CSV file opens directly in Excel, Google Sheets, Numbers, or any spreadsheet application. Use it to build custom charts, create sponsor reports, or run your own analysis.
Each episode's data starts from its publish date, not from the beginning of your selected range. If you select "All Time" but an episode was published 6 months ago, that episode's rows will only go back 6 months — there won't be empty rows for dates before it existed.
