Managing Your Account

Team Members & Roles

Invite team members, manage roles, and configure your team settings.

BuzzyPod is built for teams. You can invite colleagues, assign roles, and collaborate from a shared dashboard.

Roles

BuzzyPod has three roles:

  • Owner — the person who created the team. Has all Admin capabilities and is the only one who can transfer ownership or change an Admin's role. Each team has exactly one Owner.
  • Admin — full access to team settings, member management, billing, and analytics
  • Member — access to analytics and their own profile settings, but cannot manage team members, team settings, or billing

The person who creates the team is automatically the Owner. Both Owners and Admins can invite and manage team members.

Inviting team members

  1. Go to the Team page from the sidebar
  2. Enter the person's name and email address
  3. Choose a role for them (Admin or Member)
  4. Click Invite to send the invitation
  5. They'll receive an email with a link to join your team
The invited person will need to create a BuzzyPod account if they don't already have one. The invitation is tied to the email address you enter, so make sure it's correct. Invitations expire after 7 days — if the link expires, you can cancel it and send a new one.

Managing pending invitations

You can see all pending invitations on the Team page. If someone hasn't accepted yet, you can cancel the invitation and re-send it if needed.

Changing roles

Owners and Admins can change a team member's role:

  1. Go to the Team page
  2. Find the team member and open their options menu
  3. Change their role from Admin to Member (or vice versa)
Only the Owner can change an Admin's role. Admins can change Members to Admins, but cannot demote other Admins. You also cannot change your own role.

Transferring ownership

The Owner can transfer ownership of the team to another member:

  1. Go to the Team page
  2. Find the team member and open their options menu
  3. Select Transfer Ownership

Once transferred, the previous Owner becomes an Admin.

Removing team members

Owners and Admins can remove members from the team:

  1. Go to the Team page
  2. Find the team member and open their options menu
  3. Click Remove to remove them from the team

Removed members will lose access to the team's analytics immediately.

Team settings

Owners and Admins can update the team's name and profile image from the Team page. The team image appears in the sidebar and helps you identify your team if you're part of multiple teams.
